Standard Bank Offshore received recognition at the prestigious International Investment Awards 2024, held in London recently. Standard Bank Offshore secured the coveted ‘Excellence in Private Banking’ award for the sixth consecutive year and received a ‘Highly Commended’ accolade in the ‘Contribution to Diversity and Inclusion (Industry)’ category.

These achievements highlight Standard Bank Offshore’s commitment to excellence and innovation within the international financial sector. The recognition for diversity and inclusion is particularly meaningful, with the organisation’s emphasis on fostering inclusive practices for its clients and colleagues, something that is at its core.

Standard Bank Offshore was also shortlisted for the ‘Company of the Year’ category, a new addition to this year’s awards. While the accolade went to another contender, the nomination underscores the organisation’s impact and reputation in the offshore banking industry.

In addition, Standard Bank Isle of Man was named ‘Best International Financial Centre’, further cementing its position as a leader in global finance. Meanwhile, Standard Bank Jersey received a ‘Highly Commended’ accolade.

Sanshia Tumblety (Head of Banking Products) and Ben Watson (Product Manager – Cards and Digital) represented Standard Bank Offshore at the event, which is organised by International Investment and International Adviser. The International Investment Awards is the longest-running event of its kind and is judged by an independent panel of industry professionals who consider financial strength and overall excellence.

Lee Francis, Chief Executive, Standard Bank Isle of Man said: ‘Our success at this year’s International Investment Awards reflects the unwavering dedication of our team to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions that meet our clients’ lifetime needs. These achievements not only celebrate our commitment to excellence but also reinforce our mission to grow our Offshore business and support Africa, our home, in driving her growth.’
