The Cleveland Cavaliers are on a heater to start the 2024-25 NBA season, moving to 12-0 with a 119-116 win over the Chicago Bulls on Monday behind 36 points from Donovan Mitchell. Mitchell and the Cavaliers have been an offensive juggernaut so far this season, averaging an NBA-best 122.4 points-per-game. Mitchell has been superb so far, but he hasn’t been alone with Cleveland also getting healthy contributions from Darius Garland and Evan Mobley. The Cavaliers haven’t made it past the Eastern Conference semifinals since the end of the second LeBron James era, but history suggests this team is on track to finally make it back to at least the NBA’s Final Four.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Mitchell has been as advertised since joining the Cavs ahead of the 2022 season, averaging 27.2 points and five assists-per-game in Cleveland. With that being said, can you name the players with the most points in a single game for every NBA franchise?
Good luck!
