The National Carnival Commission of Trinidad and Tobago (NCC) has announced that the official launch of Trinidad Carnival 2025 is set for Saturday 23 November at Carnival City, Queen’s Park Savannah. Starting at 3:30pm., the event is free to the public and promises an all-star celebration themed Trinidad and Tobago Carnival – No Place Like Home.
NCC Chairman Winston “Gypsy” Peters highlighted that this launch signals the beginning of preparations for the highly anticipated 2025 Carnival season, which he called “the Greatest Carnival Experience on Earth.” With a focus on celebrating the nation’s culture. Peters said that the event will showcase Carnival’s rich traditions, aiming to attract local and international audiences while supporting Trinidad and Tobago’s tourism sector.
Attendees can look forward to performances from top soca and calypso artists, including Patrice Roberts, Nadia Batson, KMC, and Kernal Roberts, along with popular steel orchestras like Republic Bank Exodus and Massy Trinidad All Stars. The NCC promises a diverse lineup that captures the essence of the Trinbagonian Carnival with live music, steel pan, and traditional Mas elements.
Peters added that the event reminds everyone that when it comes to Carnival, “there is no place like Trinidad and Tobago.” The launch will set the tone for a season expected to deliver an unparalleled cultural experience that combines tradition, community, and festivity at its finest.
