Super Eagles and Galatasaray forward player, Victor Osimhen has given an update on the possibility of him leaving the Turkish side when the January transfer window opens.

Victor Osimhen made his decision known to one of the club’s supporters when he was walking down the tunnel and he was asked what his plan was ahead of the second half of the season.

He replied, “I am staying until the end.”

Osimhen had one of the most intriguing transfer sagas in world football during the summer as his future at Napoli was not decided after Antonio Conte made it clear that the Nigerian was not in his plan. He was one of the most sort of strikers among European top clubs and from Saudi Arabia during the 2024 summer transfer window.

The Nigerian international was speaking in an interview with Goal, where he confirmed that he was worth more than £100 million, which is the value that Napoli placed on him.

The 25-year-old is expected to remain with Galatasaray until the end of this current season (2024/25) before he decides on where he will move to next season. However, with his current buy-out clause being reduced, some of the top clubs in Europe are expected to push to sign him by the 2025 summer transfer window.
