Pantonic Steel Orchestra announced they will return to Notting Hill Carnival after a twenty-year break. Led by Lynette Yearwood, granddaughter of co-founder Ezekiel ’Biggs’ Yearwood, the orchestra promises an unforgettable performance as Lynette continues her grandfather’s legacy of musical excellence.
The Hackney-based band, which has 40 members aged 11 to 18, is reaching out to the community and local businesses for support to raise £2,500 to cover their essential costs.
The funds raised will cover transportation, uniforms, decorations, equipment, and food and drink for rehearsals and on the road. Your support will enable them to make a memorable impact at the Notting Hill Carnival and continue their mission of spreading the joy and culture of steelpan music.
