The famed rapper’s family played a crucial role in his discharge, as they wanted to provide him with personalized care in the comfort of his home. According to Zimoja, a close insider shared that despite having access to top-notch medical professionals, Da Les was unable to secure a private room in a public hospital. His family ultimately decided it was best for him to continue his recovery at home.
“He was treated with the highest form of care at Charlotte Maxeke and South Rand hospitals, where he started his rehabilitation. The family thought it was best for him to be home.” The source told Zimoja.
Family members are taking turns to support Da Les during this challenging time. His mother, who has flown in from the U.S., is present to ensure he has everything he needs. Progress is evident, as he is slowly beginning to form sentences. The source added that while he has regained some sensation on his right side, he still lacks mobility.
“His mother, who was based in the US, is here to make sure that he is fine,” the source said, adding that the rapper is starting to put sentences together, slowly.
