K.O Breaks Silence On “Too Much” Song Plagiarism Accusations. While K.O should be celebrating the release of his new single “Too Much,” featuring Nasty C, he’s currently focused on clearing his name after being accused of plagiarizing a song by the up-and-coming artist Bhuti & The Beast.

K.O Breaks Silence On “Too Much” Song Plagiarism Accusations

Taking to X, the veteran rapper addressed the allegations by providing dates that show when he first created his song, well before its release yesterday. “For those who dont know what’s the f*ck is going on, yesterday a song called “Too Much” came out, SkandaWorld my label in partnership with UMG shoutout, featuring myself and the boy Junior Nasty C who did his thing and obviously we making noise,” K.O said.

K.O acknowledged the allegations against him and the song he released, and he chose to provide evidence proving that he owns the song and that his work is original. “Something and someone jumps off the window without the parachute and they are trying to come up with some sh*t to set themselves. I saw some narratives going on and I was right cool, let’s pull out some receipts real quick,” he said.

He then shared the dates showing when he created the first demo of the song, which was in October of the previous year. K.O added that he first approached Emtee to hop on the song but it didn’t work out until he settled to feature Nasty C. “I recorded that sh*t and I sent it to Emtee, you can ask him to send a screenshot of a conversation between him and my manager,” he added.

Although the song K.O is accused of copying was released two months before his, the SkhandaWorld boss explained that he had numerous other projects to work on and release, which is why “Too Much” is only coming out now.

“Now, the reason why the song only came out this year is because I had so much music that I’ve cooked up that was for my album which was supposed to come out last year. I was like let me send this one to Emtee and it didn’t work out, and this year UMG was ready for Skhanda to put out something and I sent them this record and obviously Nasty is over there, shoutout to his team and he’s on the record and today its the 16th of August we’re on the charts. What are we talking about?”

“Now as you can see, the screenshot I’m posting next to this video is a song of the youngin setting himself, just because there’s motion with this record that we’ve just put out. The youngin who’s setting himself his record came out two months ago. Who are you, brother?” K.O said.
