Obamas speak at DNC with Harris, Walz in Milwaukee – NBC New York

Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, held a rally in Milwaukee but appeared remotely at the DNC in Chicago.
The DNC night two lineup features former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama as they return to the city they once called home to speak in support of Harris’ nomination.
Harris’ husband, second gentleman Doug Emhoff, is also scheduled to speak Tuesday night.
Also on the schedule is Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, a potential future presidential hopeful whose name for a time was mentioned as a possible running mate for Harris.
Republican nominee Donald Trump was in Howell, Michigan, on Tuesday for a crime and safety event, while his running mate, JD Vance, hosted a similar event in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
