Topps baseball cards revealed on Friday that it has created a one-of-a-kind Paul Skenes debut patch card complete with a Skenes autograph.
There is exactly one card like it in existence, and it has randomly been inserted into a pack of cards.
Collectors and hobby enthusiasts are going to no doubt be interested in finding that card.
The Pittsburgh Pirates are also interested in having that card, and they made a preemptive offer to the fan who ends up finding it.
The offer includes 30 years of season tickets behind home plate, a softball game for 30 people at PNC Park with coaching from Pirates alumni and a spring training experience that will feature batting practice with the team, a meet-and-greet with Skenes, two autographed Skenes jerseys and other “unique experiences.”
