Afrobeats sensation Rema made a triumphant return to his hometown of Benin City, hosting a sold-out homecoming concert at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Friday, August 30.
The event, his first show in Nigeria, drew thousands of fans and brought the city to a standstill.
Rema, who had earlier received the blessings of the Oba of Benin, delivered an electrifying performance, dazzling the audience with his hit songs. Meanwhile, the highlight of the night included a surprise appearance by Mavin Record Label’s boss, Don Jazzy, who joined Rema on stage alongside Crayon and Shallipopi.
