After a two-year hiatus, Rastafarian artist Sheldon Gava is reigniting his passion for music with the release of his new single, “Read,”, today, January 1, 2025. Inspired by his experiences at multi-genre music festivals, Gava’s return marks a renewed commitment to crafting meaningful songs. Speaking about the release, he shared, “New Year’s Day represents a new beginning, growth, and wishful thinking of changing for the better. ‘Read’ answers the question, Should old acquaintances be forgotten? Yes, whenever necessary.”
Born in Old Harbor Bay, St. Catherine, and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Gava is no stranger to the reggae scene. His discography includes the 2020 album “Natty De Ras” and the 2021 EP “Weather Change,” both released on his Gava Music LLC label.
