Duke freshman Cooper Flagg has been as advertised since arriving on campus in Durham, North Carolina, averaging 19.1 points and 8.3 rebounds-per-game. Despite a few late-game mistakes early in the season, Flagg has settled into his role as one of the best players in the country. Against Notre Dame the 6’9″ forward from Maine set an ACC record with 42 points, surpassing the previous record of 41 set by Boston College’s Olivier Hanlan.
