Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson got a massive contract extension this offseason, and on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers proved that he’s worth every penny. On 2nd-and-9 from their own 3-yard line, Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold unleashed a bomb that found Jefferson in stride around midfield, where “Jets” Jefferson did the rest to score a 97-yard touchdown. Jefferson did leave what ended up being a 23-17 upset for Minnesota over the reigning NFC champs with a right quad contusion he suffered while blocking, but fortunately it looks like he’s going to be okay. The Vikings are one of the early surprises of the NFL at 2-0, and Jefferson already has 192 yards and two touchdowns on eight receptions so far in 2024.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Jefferson has been electric since his first day in the NFL and is showing no signs of slowing down this year as long as he stays healthy. With that being said, can you name the active NFL players who average the most receiving yards-per-game (with a minimum of 40 career games played)?
Good luck!
