Sabrina Ionescu has ice in her veins.
The New York Liberty star guard hit a shot for the ages to win Game 3 of the WNBA Finals against the Minnesota Lynx on Wednesday. With the game tied at 77 in the final seconds of the fourth quarter, Ionescu isolated on Minnesota’s Kayla McBride, lulled her to sleep, and then sank an insanely deep pull-up three-pointer right in McBride’s face.
The shot splashed through the rim with 1.0 seconds left, and the Liberty held off the Lynx on the final possession to win 80-77.
