The STAR understands that the injured man, who has but to be recognized, is a taxi operator who was ordered by a member of the police to cease.
It’s alleged that the now injured man ignored the orders and in an try to depart the scene, used his automobile to hit the cop. It’s unclear if the lawman was injured.
It’s additional alleged that after being hit together with his automobile, the policeman pulled his service pistol and shot the taximan in his shoulder.
